Why is CASA important?
CASA is that independent, consistent voice for a child. They listen to all the various views and concerns and provide information to the court so they can make more informed decisions. From helping siblings stay connected, to uncovering information that helps reunite a loving family, volunteer advocates make an incredible difference to the lives of abused and neglected children. As a system, CASA provides significant cost savings to the tax payer by ensuring children are placed in the most appropriate home possible, receive necessary services therefore mitigating their trauma, and helping the children to reach permanency as quickly as possible.
