In Service Workshop: Expanded Healing Invisible Wounds: Trauma Bonding and Psychological Manipulation Hosted by The New Jersey Victim Assistance Academy
Victims of abuse, sexual violence and human trafficking are often psychologically held captive by those that exploit them. This training will examine sexual violence and human trafficking with a focus on the traumatic impact of psychological manipulation. The concepts of dissociation, trauma bonding and how to help survivors break the addictive cycle of abuse will also be explored.
